Advertising

Once you’ve engaged our services we meet with you to discuss the position you’re looking to fill―what it involves (job descriptions are a big help), and what experience, qualities and skills you’re seeking.

We endeavour to learn as much as we can about your organisation regarding what services/products you provide, your history and organisational culture. This ensures we design an advertisement that attracts the right candidates to both the role and the organisation.

We collaborate with you to identify the most appropriate and cost effective strategy for advertising before organising ad placement. You can choose to advertise under your own branding or advertise confidentially under our brand to avoid direct engagement with applicants.  top

Processing Applications

All applicants are given the courtesy of acknowledging their application and we save their details for your records.

In consultation with you, we scrutinise and sort all applications then telephone screen those applicants we feel could be suitable.

After culling again from this process we liaise with you to organise interviews.

Interviews

You have the option to involve us in all or part of the interview process.

  • We organise selected candidates for interview at a time that’s convenient to you.
  • We design interview questions around your specifications and criteria.
  • We partner with you as an independent panel member in conducting each interview and we offer objective feedback on each candidate.

Reference Checks

We require candidates who are interviewed to provide referees for you from two previous employers. These contacts must be relevant and appropriate to the role for which you’re recruiting.

We undertake verbal reference checks and record them in writing for your records.

Background Checks

For industries that require background checks, such as the financial services sector, we have a partnership with a reputable external investigation agency to undertake these on your behalf.

Checks can include, for example:

  • Criminal history
  • Bankruptcy
  • Health
  • Education verification
  • Passport and visa verification.

The service charge for a background check is passed on to your organisation at cost.

Skills Testing

We arrange online skills testing for candidates where required on subjects such as Microsoft Office packages, typing and data entry.

Costs are passed on directly to your organisation.

Administration

We treat interview candidates with respect, leaving them with a positive impression of your organisation.

  •  All unsuccessful candidates are advised in writing in a professional and diplomatic manner.
  • Candidates who were unsuccessful at the interview stage are advised by telephone and offered constructive feedback.
  • We provide one (1) follow up session each with yourself and the appointed candidate to ensure smooth implementation or address any issues arising around the appointment.
